Listed below are books which have arrived at The Penang Bookshelf recently.  (All prices are post free within Malaysia. Books are also sent post free to Singapore when part of an order in excess of 2 kilos. Otherwise please ask for a quote for postage.)

Prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit in blue. Sometimes The Penang Bookshelf can offer some of the titles at a reduced price if they are ordered and paid for while they remain on the list. (If they disappear, it's because the book is now advertised generally on The Penang Bookshelf's websites.)  In such cases the discounted price is indiciated in red.  Books sold will be so marked. Pre-War Images of North Borneo Published!

Opus Publications of Kota Kinabalu have just published Pre-War Images of North Borneo by Lim Pitt Kent and Nicholas KM Tan.  

The authors have managed to gather togetherthe entire collection of 148 postcards in a very handsomely produced book that is likely to quickly become a collectors item. The print run has been limited to 100 numbered copies of a gilt edged special edition and a further 400 copies of the normal edition. The book has been sumptuously produced, being thread sewn and printed on imported 250g German paper of the finest quality.

The Penang Bookshelf has already ordered a few of the copies of the normal edition which should be available for dispatch before the end of the month.

The normal edition will be available from The Penang Bookshelf for RM300 post paid within Malaysia and RM350 (AU$109/EUR86/GBP73/US$115) post paid surface mail internationally. Airmail posting will incur an additional charge.
