Listed below are books which have arrived at The Penang Bookshelf recently.  (All prices are post free within Malaysia. If you live outside Malaysia, please ask for a quote for postage.)

  • Floating on a Malayan Breeze: Travels in Malaysia and Singapore -  Sudhir Thomas Vadaketh -In 2004 the author, a young Singaporean with a Malaysian father, set off for a month cycling around Malaysia on a daily budget of RM10 (US$3). The experience inspired him to take a look at both Malaysia and Singapore, its people, history and customs, 'from the bottom up.'
